Norah has agoraphobia and OCD. When groceries are left on the porch, she can’t step out to get them. Struggling to snag the bags with a stick, she meets Luke. He’s sweet and funny, and he just caught her fishing for groceries. Because of course he did.

Norah can’t leave the house, but can she let someone in? As their friendship grows deeper, Norah realizes Luke deserves a normal girl. One who can lie on the front lawn and look up at the stars. One who isn’t so screwed up.

My Thoughts

I started this book with nothing but great expectations and boy were they met and exceeded!

Those of you who follow my blog know that I’m hesitant when reading about Mental Health because I dislike when it’s incorrectly written about. So many people had told me how great this book was and what an accurate representation it did on Mental Health and now I can finally agree.

It’s accurate representation of Mental Health was not the only reason I loved this book.It was also because It was very real and truthful. You could completely understand the characters and learn about them, also each of their individual stories.Norah was such an amazing character to read about and to witness grow throughout the book.

After reading this book I also realised that I haven’t read/seen many books about agoraphobia, I praise Louise  so much for writing about this because it brings awareness to people in such a  unique/ wonderful way.

This is another beautiful debut novel with an amazing insightful Journey! That I would highly recommend you all read

Let me know if you’ve read any books similar to this as I really wanna read one?
